About the Role

Bark is looking for an exceptional Head of Sales to join our UK office and continue to build out and grow the success of our UK and EUR sales and account management teams. We are looking for a tenacious hunter with a proven track record in bringing on and building long term partnerships with C-Suite executives and senior stakeholders. You lead by example and have experience managing high performance sales teams who consistently over deliver versus targets.

Working closely with global leadership to feed in and shape our partner strategy, you will play a key role whilst we continue to grow and scale our business. This role will be instrumental in building sales excellence, driving robust sales strategies and ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver both sales and account management strategy for the UK & EUR in order to hit P&L targets
    • Oversee New Business Development and pipeline management through the full customer lifecycle from trialling, onboarding and contracting of new business partners
    • Leverage your existing relationships and network to create new business opportunities and support closing of strategic deals
    • Oversee Account management of new clients that the team have successfully onboarded, to drive partner performance and account growth
    • Uncover and develop new commercial opportunities and monetisation models
    • Drive your team of direct reports to meet and exceed their monthly and quarterly targets
    • Feed into global sales and account management initiatives and strategy
    • Understand digital marketing and business trends to determine market growth opportunities and drive long term growth
    • Work closely with marketing and data & insights to maximise trading opportunities and build long term strategies
    • Support cross functional work to unlock trading and product optimisation which unlocks partner performance and growth

      Required Skills and Experience

      • Relevant sales and leadership experience
      • Strong leadership skills, with a proven experience managing a high performing sales and account management
      • Success in developing and driving sales strategies for both revenue growth and retention
      • Prior experience working with SME and large enterprises, specifically within the professional services industry is desirable
      • Prior experience within lead generation and the digital marketing landscape is desirable
      • An analytical and strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen with strong strategic vision
